Here is a little information about Star Power Charity's special Non-Profit programs:

Our Programs:

Classic Cuts 4 Kids- CC4K- Our back-to-school program provides free haircuts, free backpacks, free school supplies, free lunch and entertainment for children from low-income families on Sunday preceeding the Monday the children return to school for school age children.  Only requirement is that children's hair MUST BE WASHED and CLEAN before stylist and barbers can work on hair.  No exceptions.


Ronald McDonald House (Charlotte NC) Classic Cuts for Kids & Family- CC4K-RMDH-This program provides children AND Family Members of the Ronald McDonald House (CLT) the opportunity to receive free haircuts for the entire family, including parents and guardians, while their child or sibling is receiving life-saving treatment at the nearby hospital. The recipients MUST HAVE WASHED and Clean Hair before stylist and barbers can work on hair.  No Exceptions. 


v   Mother’s Day Makeover for Homeless & Abused Women- This program is a day of pampering, self-esteem building and career resource awareness for homeless and abused women. Professional stylist and beauty consultants volunteer their time to provide free hairstyles, manicures and make-up makeovers to the homeless and abused women.  Restaurants provide donated food to the women and they receive donated clothing items collected from the community (i.e., shoes, jewelry, business suits, belts, etc.) to help them look professional for job opportunities.


v   Bears, Books N’ Buddies- This is one of our educational programs that provides NEW  teddybears and Children's Books  to children fighting medical or life challenges.  We collect new teddy bears to give to children who have witnessed or been through and survived a traumatic life experience.  People can donate new teddy bears or give a $25 financial donation to purchase new teddy bears for these children. 


Celebrity Charity School Tours- is another one of our educational programs where we invite celebrities and entertainment industry professionals to come speak to Junior high and high school students to provide them with valuable knowledge about career choices, education and diligence. This educational program shows students the necessity of their education and the value of developing and using their intellectual potential. 


Heart & Sole!-  This is one of our community programs that collects new and gently used shoes for children and adults from low-income families.


The College Closet- This is one of our community programs that collects new and gently used clothes young adults in college.  This program is the result of a young adults in college who are in need of proper clothing in particularly cold climates.

We are greatful for the opportunity to share our programs and work with The Piedmont Health Service and Sickle Cell Agency, The Ronald McDonald House Charities, Inc (Charlotte, NC), The Salvation Army Homeless Women’s Shelter, Spirit Square, Turn Around Academy, The Hope and Harvest Foundation, The Sky Kings and Queens of AmericanAirlines and The Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School. We look forward to working with and sharing our programs with many other children and young adults in the near future.
