Star Power Charity's "Classic Cuts 4 Kids!" program is a "back to school" program that provides FREE HAIRCUTS, BACKPACKS, SCHOOL SUPPLIES and NOTEBOOK PAPER and PENCILS to children from low-income families before they return back to school.
Star Power Charity works diligently to collect donated school supplies for these children before they return to school. These essential school supplies are needed and help children to be confident and prepared for school. Many parents and some schools have a hard time providing children with basic school supplies.
We created "Classic Cuts 4 Kids!" to help provide the essential needs of free haircuts, notebook paper, pens, pencils, etc to be of service to those in need and have a fun, educational and informative day for children on the Sunday before they return back to school.
Star Power Charity's "Classic Cuts 4 Kids!" back to school event is successful because of the help of Celebrity Barber Kenny "KQ" Quiller, Master Stylists Delia Szady, Kelly Talley-Mason, Shakevia Smyre, Katrina Smith, Regina's Beauty College, Teresa Sessions, Carmela Susewell, and SPC Board members Deloris Tolbert, Annette Gee, Tiffany Baptiste, Donald Fields and Volunteer Coordinator Tabitha Smith, all who donate their time to help prepare these children in need.
Additional guests and celebrities that have volunteered to make this a memorable day for children include Mr. Rick Coleman, Fashion Designer Bill Evans, Judge Gary Henderson, former Presidential Management Fellow LaVon Thomas, International Basketball Player Demontez Stitt, Magazine Publisher Rashard Phillips, DJ Silvio, Videographer, Chawn Bracey, etc.
Star Power Charity also appreciates the support of local and national businesses Status Entertainment Agency, Celebrity Charity Magazine, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, Soho, Fuel Pizza, Villa Francesca, Subway, Little Ceasars Pizza, Harris Teeter, and Food Lion that help "Classic Cuts 4 Kids!" be success!
